The Wheels of Hope 8th annual ride promises to be the most sublime bicycle ride of your life. Our century bike ride of 112 miles and 8500+ feet of climbing will leave you tired but so proud of your accomplishment. We now have a new 31 mile route with many of the best parts of riding in beautiful West Virginia. Our four routes traverse one and two lane, paved country roads and enjoy beautiful farmland views with mountain vistas.  All rides begin and end in historic Lewisburg, voted “THE COOLEST small town in America” for 2011 by Budget Travel magazine.

Early registration is Friday night.  Come to our own Carnegie Hall between 4:30-8:00 PM  to register and enjoy a special evening of music and bike demos. You may still register the morning of the ride beginning at 6:30 AM.  Bagels and coffee will be available. Subscribe to our newsletter for full details and the schedule of events. We have a wonderful weekend planned for you full of fun events and merchant discounts! For the full schedule click here…

After your ride we will have hot delicious showers provided by the West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine, then stop by for the post-ride meal and after party between 2-5 PM.

The Greenbrier Valley Wheels of Hope Ride is an annual fundraiser, hosted by the Greenbrier Valley Bicycle Club, with all net proceeds benefiting Greenbrier Valley residents currently fighting cancer and the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society (LLS). Gifts are meant to inspire hope for emotional, spiritual and physical healing for cancer survivors, with “survivorship” beginning on the day of diagnosis.
