Trail is currently OPEN.

The Kernersville Mountain Bike Park will be CLOSED FOR AN EXTENDED PERIOD from Saturday, November 9th through Saturday, November 30. Local Scout (and fellow mountain biker) Blaine Thompson will be fulfilling his Eagle Scout project to widen and add to the parking area at the park during this time.

The project is a large one and the park must be closed during this period per the Town of Kernersville Parks & Rec Dept. for safety reasons due to the equipment, clearing and material involved. Blaine is coordinating directly with the Town as well as our trail crew to complete this project.

The result will be a huge improvement to our local MTB Park. It will add several more parking spots in an additional parking area as well as new parallel parking options along the driveway -- much needed.
